Correct. CleanList runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your CSV is parsed on your machine and never transmitted to any server. We don't have a backend that could receive it even if we wanted to.
Select the HubSpot preset and CleanList automatically enables email deduplication, email lowercasing, phone standardization, and date formatting. It also removes hs_object_id, createdate, hs_lastmodifieddate, and other system columns — leaving only the contact data you need.
No. $49 is a one-time payment. You will never be charged again. Access is tied to your browser via a session token — no account, no recurring billing, no expiry date.
No. CleanList only reformats US numbers — 10-digit and 11-digit starting with 1. International numbers (UK, EU, Brazil, Japan, everywhere else) are left exactly as-is.
Yes. CleanList works in any modern mobile browser. On iOS Safari the download flow is slightly different — you get a tap-and-hold link to save the file — but all cleaning features work identically. Android Chrome downloads normally to your Downloads folder.
Yes. After paying once, clean as many files as you want in the same browser. Click "Clean another file" after each download. Access persists in your browser's local storage until you clear it.

Files up to 100MB. Most CRM exports are well under 10MB. For very large files (50,000+ rows) CleanList shows a progress bar and may take 10-20 seconds. Everything stays local — your browser is doing all the work.
CleanList detects 12+ common date formats and converts everything to YYYY-MM-DD. Salesforce and HubSpot timestamps like 2024-03-15T10:30:00Z are stripped to just the date. Unrecognized formats are left unchanged — your data is never silently corrupted.
